Description: Sqlmangr.exe - original not foundThe ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library

The ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library. How do I fix the error "the ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\windows\system32\sqlunirl.dll"
This error appeared after downloading correct video driver for my video board. It first said it failed but after reboot the video board worked correctly. This was the only updated driver at this time for windows 10.

This error pops up after everything is loaded. Relisted below;

1. What is the make and model of your device?

Method 1: I would suggest you to roll back the drivers and check.

a. Press Windows + X from keyboard.
b. Click on device manager.
c. Right click on the video card, Click on properties.
d. Click on the driver Tab.
e. Click on Roll back Drivers.

Method 2: Download and install driver’s latest available drivers from manufacturer’s website. If drivers not available for Windows 10, Install in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:
1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.
4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Method 3

This error message can be caused from lots of device drivers particularly when installing, unistalling or re-installing but I found it was mostly caused by a sound or video device driver from C-Media Corp.  I would suggest the following simple process of elimation, i tried it and fixed it;
1. Fisrt type msonfig in the taskbar startup window
2. Go to startup
3. If there has been a line added relating to the dynamic link under C-Media Corp uncheck the box
4. Then run a utility to check, correct and clean the registry. Most are provided nowadays with your security program
That's it and repeat if it continues or try unistalling the device that's causing it or chnage it altogther
